Nathan was momentarily at a loss for words, unsure how to explain the situation to Ava. He grasped her hand tightly.

"I want your stance now, Nathan. What are you planning to do with Iris?" Ava demanded, repeating her question.
"Ava, please stop making a scene. We can discuss this at home where it's private," Nathan replied, his frustration evident.
Patrick Hill raised an eyebrow. He might be the outsider here, but he was curious to see how Nathan would handle this mess. Crossing his arms, he watched the drama unfold, clearly entertained.
