"Hold on!" Ava Sterling didn't even have time to look up as her gaze, fixed on the computer screen on the desk, suddenly shifted to Zoe Dawson. "What happened? Did you lose your wallet, or did some handsome guy make you mad?"
Zoe Dawson shook her head, "Neither!"
"Neither? Then what on earth happened?" Ava racked her brain but couldn't figure out what could be wrong.
"It's nothing serious. You should just focus on finalizing your design. The competition starts tomorrow, and I need to submit your design first thing in the morning," Zoe waved off, clearly not wanting to continue the conversation.
"Okay, then you go back to what you were doing. Tell everyone in the department this is crunch time; we can't afford a single mistake."
