Stepping outside of the cave, Arthur was embraced by the gray cloudy sky, now devoid of rain.
The ground was wet and muddy, but not much to the point where one's feet would sink. Though it was not a smooth one as it had various pits which were now filled by rain.
A sleek smell of rain drifted through the air, making the atmosphere solemn and peaceful.
But unfortunately that peace was broken by the several presences that surrounded the cave.
Humanoid Devils.
He had still not been able to dig in much deeper about them and though he could just leave them as monsters, a certain part in his consciousness rejected that notion.
That certain part refused to believe them as normal monsters, suggesting that there was more to it than he thought.
The refusal was based upon the small parts in between the fights where Arthur noticed human-like traits in them.
