It was an elite unit of the Blade Family consisting of Ascendant to Grandmaster Rank Fahrs.
They served the Blade family only and their loyalty was unparalleled, even willing to defy the Imperius on their orders.
They were solely trained to kill and fight in the harshest and most cruel environments and in their mind their sole purpose was to follow the Blades till the end.
Their history with the Blades dated back to the founder William Blade who first formed them, by taking out the special assassins, warriors and mages of the army and making them into a separate unit.
Every word left out of the Blades mouth would be their command and they would give up their life to complete it to perfection.
The Ashblades, as a gift and tradition for every heir of the Blade Family, took an orphan from the streets and specially trained them in every way possible.
