'Where am I?'
Ray thought to himself as he stared at the vast expanse of darkness and nothingness around him. He awoke just a few minutes earlier to find himself suspended in this dark realm without being able to see anything or even move. He couldn't even see his body as a matter of fact.
'The last thing I remember is that I died, is this is the afterlife?' Ray wondered.
'If this is hell, then I must say that It's quite boring and unlike what I was expecting it to be' He remarked.
Ray Vixen, without a doubt, even when he was alive knew that if he was to die there was no chance of him going to heaven. His acts and sin forbade that thought to cross his mind. The murders and assassinations he had attempted in his life, even though without a choice, destroyed any chance of him going to heaven and he didn't even hope on going there.
He knew, that if he was to die then he would be separated from his precious family who would probably go to heaven. But he didn't care about it, after all, did he even have a choice in his life?
If by ensuring the safe and happy life of his family he had to be a sinner and an enemy of the world, then he would gladly accept that role without a thought.
Suddenly, Ray saw a faint speck of light at the far end of darkness which caused him to dismiss his previous thoughts, and muffled voices started to reach his ears. Voices which, even upon trying were incomprehensible to his mind but as he stared at the small speck of light, it started to gradually grow bigger and bigger.
As the light grew, the voices started to get clearer and clearer. Until finally, the light got so big that it encompassed him whole and finally a clear voice reached him while he was trying to close his eyes to no avail.
"Congratulations milady! It's a boy."
A voice which was very feminine. As Ray opened his eyes, he caught the glimpse of the surroundings before him. A finely furnished room with beds, medical equipment, sofas and bookshelves and racks. It hit his mind, that he was in a hospital and the strange thing was that everything was 6 to 7 times his size.
He saw a nurse holding him and as he looked at her, she took him in her arms and gently carried him to a nearby bed before handing him over to another woman. Again it bewildered his mind, that every person in the room - who were all women - was large as a giant.
As Ray was handed over to a second woman, he caught the sight of her beautiful features. She looked to be no older than 28 and had long wheat colored hair that cascaded down halfway across her back, blue eyes as deep as the calm ocean, and an innocent and tired smile that enchanted her beauty even more.
In her eyes, Ray caught a glimpse of a familial affection towards him which made him wonder about the reason of such affection. He tried to raise his hands to touch her but at once felt that they felt heavy and when tried to ask the woman 'Who are you?' all that came out of his mouth were incomprehensible words,
"Goo gwah gu?"
That's when it hit his mind. Everything from the darkness, to the large size of everything and the unmistakable affection in the woman's eyes. It wasn't that everything in this room was abnormally large, it was just that he was too small and he had just been given birth to. Moreover, the woman who was looking at him with such affection in front of him was his mother.
As if on cue, maybe she understood Ray's words because she was his mother or she understood his expression but in any case, she introduced herself to the small Ray,
"Welcome my dear son, I am your mother Alice, Alice Blade and you are such a cute boy that it makes me want to cuddle you."
No sooner than she had said those words, that she raised Ray and started to cuddle him affectionately. Unfortunately though, Ray took no notice of her actions but her words confirmed his suspicions and his thoughts started to wander
'Hmmm, It appears that I have reincarnated.' He thought.
But Ray couldn't say that he wasn't surprised, after all he had never, even in his wildest thoughts, thought of this outcome. It was just that from the start Ray in his previous life, had been taught not to panic in such situations and so he was quite rational and calm in this situation which was quite contrary to how a normal person's reaction would be in such a situation.
As Ray was deep in his thoughts, the door to his left quickly opened with a noise which jolted him out of his thoughts. A man, who appeared to be in his early or mid 30's came rushing in with long black hair and midnight black eyes which gave him a look similar to that of Ray's previous life.
As his eyes quickly traversed the room and landed upon his mother's face in a second, Ray saw his previously tense body relax with a relieved sigh. Then a happy smile stretched upon his face as he walked up to him and his mother.
Ray's mother too acknowledged his arrival with a smile and gently held him up with her arms towards the man who had just arrived. The man also, gently received him with his arms as if Ray was a valuable and expensive antique that could break with the slightest touch or mistake.
Although judging by his actions and his facial expressions, he had already made a guess of who this man was. It was satisfying to hear the affirmation of his thoughts from the man's lips himself,
"My dear boy, I cannot express how happy I am to have you but unfortunately you cannot hear me. Oh yes I forgot that I have not introduced myself, I am your father Nolan, Nolan Blade."
As the words left his lips, he gently embraced Ray in a warm hug.
Maybe it was because Ray reincarnated and his feelings now were the feelings of his new body or maybe because he had never experienced any familial love of his parents in his past but whatever was the case, his body developed a natural warmth and happiness towards these two people who were now supposedly his mother and father in this new life. Ray's body subconsciously, started making happy movements which caused his parents to smile even brighter and they gentle place him in the cradle.
After a while, sleep came over his weak baby body and his eyelids started to droop. His father had to leave after a while due to some work and her mother went to sleep as well due to giving birth to him. However, just as his eyelids were close to drooping shut, he heard a voice in his head that jolted him wide awake.
[Greetings mortal. Can you hear me?]
Surprise overtook his whole being as his eyes darted left and right to identify the person who was messing with his head. He, with difficulty, moved his head to see if anyone else had heard the loud voice but just as he expected the room was silent, undisturbed.
Ray tried to answer the voice with his thoughts, which he thought was maybe the way to answer.
'Who are you? and Why are you calling me a mortal?'
He also had a few other question but he prioritized the main ones first. Just a second after, as he as expected the voice, monotone reached his head with a reply,
[I'm a god or maybe was a god but that doesn't matter right now. As for why I'm calling you a mortal it's because just like I said before I'm a god precisely Hades, God of Death and Underworld.]
Even more surprise came over Ray as maybe all his previous beliefs were just broken and he tried to confirm them,
'Hades? As in from the Greek mythology? but aren't all they myths?'
This time the pause lasted longer and once the voice came it was in a laughing tone but there was a hint of hurt in it,
[Haha that's what you mortals always thought didn't you because we were so old, way before science but, of course, you won't believe just from this answer will you. So try saying [Status] in your head to confirm your suspicions]
Ray was wary of him, this life kept throwing more and more surprises at him but since there was nothing he could do and maybe not even the voice in his head, he followed through,
'[Status]'
Instantly a blue holographic window materialized in front of him which was quite similar to those game system windows he had seen in his previous life in T.V commercials.

Questions rose up in Ray's mind as soon as he saw his status window and he knew of only person from whom he could get his answers from, the only person who could satiate his curiosity
'What's a stigmata? What are skills and what is this [Pandemonium of Olympians]?'
Hades' voice came again this time, expecting his questions,
[All the answers to your questions shall be given in due time but that's not what important right now. The important thing is now that you now I'm your [Guardianus] which means I'm basically your guardian god and the [Pandemonium of Olympians] is the main thing which you should be focusing on.]
Ray didn't trust him, not one bit but it was not as if he was in a hurry and if what he said was really true that he was his guardian god then Ray doubted he would be able to hurt him, so he asked what the god was interested to talk on right now,
'Fine then, what is this [Pandemonium of Olympians]?'
This time the pause lasted for a long time, almost a half minute but when the voice came it was grave and held no remorse and and a warning, a threat, an imminence that could maybe threaten his life again.
[On March 1, 3020, twelve years from this day, no longer maybe earlier, twelve Olympian gods will descend on this world to hunt me down and kill me which is basically you. The world will plunged into chaos because of the brutal war that will follow and which will threaten all that you will come to love. Until then, you must get as strong as you can to fight them because now there is no going back and this is your only choice, your only future.]
