Many soldiers were running towards their respective warships
"Hurry, don't waste time! Get on the ship and depart immediately!" shouted a man in a military uniform different from the others
"Yes, sir!" the soldiers shouted back upon hearing the man's voice
"Quickly, we have no time, war has broken out, we must secure our seas!" the man shouted as he saw that the soldiers were still boarding, which might take a few more minutes
"Yes, sir!"
"Vera, where is Ethan?" the man said, looking around
"Sir Ethan is already on board, commander," replied a beautiful woman named Vera
"Good," the man said, beginning to walk back to the base
Seeing the man walking back to the base, Vera immediately asked a question
"Commander, aren't you going to join this war?" Vera asked, making the man stop for a moment
"I'm too old to go to war again, and besides, the government won't allow me. My authority will be given to Captain Ethan for the duration of the war," the man said, walking away and leaving the woman who just stared at his back
On the warship located right in the middle of a line of six other warships
And on that warship, a man who looked to be about 27 or 28 years old, with black hair and red eyes, he is the MC of this novel, Ethan
Currently, Ethan was staring at a map in front of him
"War has broken out... Cleo has started entering Vero's waters, there will likely be a battle soon..." Ethan murmured while continuously moving the miniature warships placed on the map

Someone knocked on the door of Ethan's room, which made Ethan turn around and look at the door
"Come in, the door is unlocked," Ethan said, continuing to look at the map

The door opened, revealing the woman who had spoken with the commander; the woman was Vera
"Captain Ethan, I have an important report," Vera said respectfully
Hearing Vera mention important information, Ethan shifted his gaze from the map and looked at Vera
"What information?" Ethan asked, which Vera promptly answered
"Commander Robert's authority has been transferred to you, Captain Ethan," Vera said, surprising Ethan, albeit briefly
"Hmm, I understand... Have all the soldiers boarded their ships?" Ethan said, refocusing his gaze on the map
"Yes, Captain, all the soldiers have boarded the warships," Vera replied upon hearing Ethan's words
"Tell the other captains to depart now," Ethan said while continuing to move several miniature warships
"Yes, Captain Ethan"
