After spending a month or so absorbing Qi and interacting with it, I realized that it was a rather caring entity. It would often guide me on the right path and let me know about things I needed.
Nyssa explained it didn't mean the energy was conscious but that my special constitution that allowed me to connect with the Qi around me had a special intuition. Nobody else could see those special and intricate Qi weaves I could see aside from others having the same constitution or something with similar abilities.
