A nod was enough of a response, and the two of us walked quickly through the empty living room, a spacious place painted white with some black leather sofas and a large TV.
"There are four rooms on this floor, should we knock down the doors and barge in like in movies?" I asked quietly only to receive a headshake from Minerva.
"No, let's just open with the door handles, otherwise we will alert everyone in the building."
She followed her words, opening one door quickly and pushing it inward as the two of us stormed into the room ready to shoot anything moving. Nothing moved though, and the process repeated itself three more times.
"I guess nobody is on this floor, let's visit upstairs."
Climbing up the stairs, a whipping noise alerted me immediately.
*Woosh*
*Whip!*
"Ah!"
