Now I was truly pissed off. These guys did not deserve any mercy. I did my best to remain cool and rational as I thought where to strike first. I couldn't wave off the possibility of one of them carrying a gun.
The one most likely to carry one should be… the leader. He was a big guy with wide arms and some fat covering his broad build. Marking him as my target, I leaped from the low roof, bringing down my bat with a heavy momentum.

The bat linked with his skull, and a sickening cracking noise almost echoed in the silence of the night. Even the coarse men around me turned silent for that very short second. I grimaced at the noise, realizing I placed much more power behind my strike.
There was no time to learn, adjust, or regret. They would remain stunned only for so long. I already assigned priorities to my targets.
