I rolled the round thing between my fingers in wonder, almost unwilling to eat something so magical.
"Yes, as in a pill made by Alchemy," she confirmed, heading out.
"Wait, wait! You are an alchemist? How did you become an alchemist?" Why would she walk outside like she did nothing worth mentioning after giving me a little treasure?
"I'm not an alchemist," she denied, which was weird, given the fact she gave me a pill she concocted. "I tried learning as a child, but I never had the patience required to sit down and read countless books. I'm more of a doer, I hate memorizing lists."
Well, if I had to guess whether a gang boss liked to learn things by reading, I'd probably say that they didn't. Sorry for assuming.
