------------

In addition to the five types of laser guns, there are also five different calibers of laser guns. These are laser cannons that can replace the old-fashioned cannonballs. While they are called laser cannons, they are more accurately described as laser beam launchers.

The guns shoot beams of light that range from 200mm to 1000mm in diameter and from 5 meters to 15 meters in length. Even the smallest diameter of 200mm uses 1.5 million volts of electricity for one shot! For the 1000mm beams, the energy consumption is massive, requiring 30 million volts for a single shot.

Basically, a 200mm diameter beam uses the same amount of energy as an ordinary electric shell, while the 1000mm consumes 30 million volts of lightning shells in one go. The power of the emitted laser is comparable to Kizaru's normal attacks and even his more serious powerful attacks.

The one-meter-diameter beam of light doesn't seem to have been used by Kizaru in the original story, and this kind of power is truly unimaginable! The world and the Marines have the capability to create this; it's definitely possible! After all, Arthur's laser research materials were stolen from Vegapunk when he was young, making it easier for them to produce large-caliber weapons.

However, the real limitation lies in energy. To launch a powerful laser attack requires a lot of energy. Fortunately, the special shells on Arthur's sky island perfectly solve this issue.

But while the energy problem is fixed, another challenge follows! The materials for the laser guns need to be highly resistant to heat, efficient in energy transmission, and both strong and durable.

Currently, the Angel Empire lacks these materials, which are likely rare even in the World Government. As a result, these various caliber laser cannons are basically one-time-use items.

After one shot, they suffer severe overload, causing the entire structure to nearly melt and the core of the gun to burn out. Even the precious lightning shells can be damaged or completely destroyed. If the lightning shell is destroyed and there is no lightning left, that's fine, but if there is, it could trigger a violent storm! The force is so great that those operating the gun might not escape unharmed.

The energy capsule of the laser gun uses an energy transmission device to place the lightning shells into the energy chamber. The entire energy transmission device is divided into five layers and five sides, holding a total of twenty-five lightning shells. If an accident occurs, it would be just as powerful as Arthur using a big move.

After spending most of the day on the moon, Arthur finally walked towards the place where Visalia's elders were staying. Now that he's here, he wanted to see Nami. He hadn't seen her in several months and really missed her.

By the way, this girl is still not even seventeen, but she's so fierce. What's up with that impressive figure? It's too much!

While wondering if Nami had become even fiercer in his absence, Arthur entered the little Visalia on the moon. Since the old men were not used to living in the ruined cities of the moon, they built everything with science and technology, making the entire city of steel.

Because of this, the old men, who were used to earth and wood houses, felt a bit uncomfortable. In the end, Arthur asked Jessica to help bring a huge residence from Red Ring Star.

There are so many mysteries in the universe. These astronomers, who often felt idle back on Earth, regained their passion for learning once they arrived in space.

To ensure these old men didn't die too soon, Arthur gave them each a special ring that could store energy, although he didn't tell them exactly what it was. Because of this, the old men rarely took a break unless they were exhausted.

As a result, Nami's studies were neglected, and no one paid attention to her. Some of Visalia's advanced knowledge is nearly impossible to learn without a professor. Nami had been teaching herself for a while; although she made progress, it was very slow.

Frustrated, Nami knocked out two of the old men, and they took turns teaching her every day. In a beautiful little room, Nami held a book and listened to the absent-minded old man reading, asking questions from time to time to get answers.

Neither of them noticed Arthur's arrival.

Seeing Nami so focused on learning, even though he knew she was still under eighteen, Arthur felt excited.

"Huh?" She seemed to sense someone watching her. Nami frowned slightly and looked up.

"Ah! Arthur!" Nami dropped her book and rushed over.

Bang!

What a strong hug! Arthur took a small step back to absorb the impact, instinctively wrapping his arms around Nami's waist.

"I'm so bored here! I'm all alone, just studying every day," Nami complained as she held Arthur tightly.

"Really? You must be almost done with your studies, right? Once you finish, I'll take you back.

You have to become the goddess of the empire! I've been searching for those two Devil Fruits; as long as you find them, you will be too.

I can become a famous superwoman on the Grand Line!" Arthur said, feeling a mix of concern and affection while inhaling the pleasant scent of Nami.

After more than a year, Nami had developed a good impression of Arthur, and being bold herself, she was no exception.

"Okay, you go back! Really, you're just distracting me!" Nami said, stepping away from Arthur and scolding the old man who had been reading to her.

After more than a year, even though she had learned a lot, she couldn't be polite with these old men anymore.

Hearing this, the old man who was supposed to teach that day suddenly became lively. His lifeless expression changed as he put down his book and happily swayed his hands, heading toward the research center.

Once the old man left, Arthur felt better and pulled Nami into his arms, appreciating her amazing figure.

"Ennnnnm…" Nami bit her lower lip, trying to endure Arthur's bold moves.

Except for the last step, there were basically no secrets between the two.

"Don't!" Stopping Arthur from going further, Nami reached out to hold him back, then shot him a playful look as she stepped back and squatted down.

"Well, that's fine," Arthur said, trying to calm his racing heart and the heat he felt.

Nami didn't want to be distracted and was afraid she might get caught here, so she always stopped him before things went too far.

Ten minutes later, after Arthur controlled himself, Nami covered her blushing lips, rolled her cute eyes, and dashed into the bathroom.

"Nami, how long will it take for you to learn the science of astronomy in Visalia?" Arthur asked, sitting on the sofa with Nami leaning against him.

Nami shook her head and replied, "I don't know how to become a teacher yet."

"But for now, I already understand all the weather patterns on the Grand Line. If I have the right weapon to control air pressure and currents, I can create different celestial phenomena!"

Arthur knew that he needed to figure out how to create impressive weather changes, as it seemed necessary to find time for the scientists to help.

"Is that all? That's good! As long as you understand the climate changes of all the islands on the Grand Line, you can recreate normal weather phenomena.

I won't let you run around the world; just give me a child, okay? Housekeeper, prepare Tenten to count the money!"

Arthur affectionately squeezed Nami's nose.

Nami's eyes lit up, and it seemed like money symbols appeared in her eyes. "Is the sky paradise about to open?"

"Exactly!" Arthur nodded, explaining, "In another week, there will be on-site recruitment from all over the world. Once the recruitment is over, they will begin training for three months right away."

"In three months, there's the World Summit, and after I participate, the sky paradise will officially open."

"At that point, making money will be like a river flowing. You'll be the goddess of climate, bringing us different weather changes!" Arthur smiled, watching Nami dream about making money effortlessly, and chuckled helplessly.

Since the sky island is located above the Calm Belt, although it isn't completely windless at seven or eight kilometers high, the breeze is so gentle that it doesn't create any climate changes.

Thus, if the island wants to change its climate, it must rely on the astronomical knowledge Nami has learned.

The four seasons have their own beauty, and every kind of astronomical event has its own charm.

If it were just an empty island, the changes wouldn't matter much. But with fifty floating islands known as paradise in the sky, they need to change to be even more perfect!

Three hours later, in Nami's reluctant embrace, Arthur kissed her forehead and flew to Sky Island.

This time, there are two important matters that need to be resolved.

In addition to the five types of laser guns, there are also five different calibers of laser weapons. What is termed a "laser cannon" is more accurately described as a laser beam launcher!

The projectiles fired are essentially beams of light, varying in thickness from 200mm to 1000mm and measuring between 5 meters and 15 meters in length.

Even the smallest, with a diameter of 200mm, consumes a staggering 1.5 million volts of electricity per shot, while the largest, with a diameter of 1000mm, requires an enormous 30 million volts for a single discharge.

Essentially, a 200mm beam uses the equivalent energy of a standard electric shell, whereas a 1000mm beam depletes the energy of thirty million volts in one go!

The power output of these lasers rivals Kizaru's normal attacks and his more formidable moves. Interestingly, a 1000mm beam has not been used by Kizaru in the original work, which makes its potential power unimaginable!

The world and the Marine government have the capability to create these weapons; it's entirely feasible. After all, Arthur's laser research materials were acquired from Vegapunk during his youth, making the production of large caliber lasers quite straightforward for them.

However, the primary limitation lies in energy. Launching powerful laser attacks consumes massive amounts of power. Thankfully, the special shells designed on Arthur's sky island have effectively addressed this issue.

Yet, even with the energy problem solved, there's another critical focus: the materials used in the laser guns must be highly resistant to extreme temperatures, capable of efficient energy transmission, and strong enough to withstand immense pressure.

Currently, the Angel Empire lacks these materials, which are likely rare within the World Government as well. As a result, the various caliber laser cannons are essentially one-time use. After a single shot, they undergo severe overload, risking complete meltdown of the entire structure and destruction of the gun's core. Even the specialized thunder and lightning shells could be damaged or rendered useless.

If a thunder shell is destroyed and there's no lightning present, the situation can be overlooked. However, if there is lightning, it could trigger a catastrophic eruption of thunderstorms! The energy capsule of the laser gun utilizes an energy transmission device to preload the lightning bika into the slot, which is then inserted into the energy inner capsule.

The entire energy transmission mechanism consists of five layers, allowing for the embedding of a total of twenty-five lightning shells. An accident during operation could unleash a level of destruction comparable to Arthur unleashing a devastating attack!

After spending most of the day on the moon, Arthur finally made his way to the area where the elderly men of Visalia resided. Now that he was here, he wanted to see Nami. It had been several months, and he missed her dearly.

By the way, this little girl is not even seventeen yet, yet she's already quite formidable. What's up with her exaggerated figure? While pondering this, Arthur entered the small Visalia on the moon.

The elderly scientists, unaccustomed to living in the moon's ruined cities, had their residence built entirely from steel, as they found the high-tech environment unsettling. To accommodate them, Arthur had Jessica help transport a large residence from Red Ring Star.

The universe is full of mysteries, and these astronomers, who were almost idle back on Earth, regained their passion for learning upon arriving in space. To ensure they didn't burn out too quickly, Arthur gifted each of them a special item—though he kept its purpose a secret, merely stating that it was a ring capable of storing energy.

As a result, the old men worked tirelessly, rarely taking breaks unless fatigued. Consequently, Nami's studies were often neglected, as no one paid her much attention.

Some of Visalia's advanced knowledge is nearly impossible to grasp without a professor. Although Nami has been teaching herself, progress has been slow. Frustrated, she knocked down two of the old men, compelling them to take turns assisting her with her studies.

In a charming little room, Nami sat engrossed in a book while an elderly man read aloud. They were both oblivious to Arthur's arrival.

Noticing Nami's focused expression, Arthur felt a rush of affection, despite knowing she was still under eighteen.

"Huh?" Nami seemed to sense someone watching her, furrowing her brow as she glanced over.

"Ah! Arthur!" she exclaimed, dropping her book and rushing towards him.

Bang!

Nami collided with him in an enthusiastic embrace, causing Arthur to stagger slightly as he instinctively held her hips to steady himself.

"I'm so bored here! It's just me, and I can only study every day," she lamented, hugging him tightly.

"Really? You must be nearly done with your studies, right? Once you're finished, I'll take you back. You have to become the goddess of the empire! I've been searching for the two fruits, and once you find them, you'll be unstoppable. You can become a famous superwoman on the Grand Line!" Arthur said, a hint of distress in his voice as he breathed in the delightful scent of Nami.

After more than a year, Nami had developed a good impression of Arthur, and she was no stranger to expressing her feelings.

"Okay, you can go back now! I can't focus with you here, so go!" she said, playfully shoving him away as she turned her attention back to the elderly man.

After more than a year, even though she had understood his lessons well, she no longer felt the need to be polite with these old men.

Hearing her remark, the elderly lecturer suddenly perked up. His lifeless face lit with enthusiasm as he set down the book and dashed toward the research center, waving his arms joyfully.

With the old man gone, Arthur felt relieved and pulled Nami back into his embrace, feeling her remarkable figure against him.

"Ennnnnm..." Nami bit her lower lip, resisting Arthur's bold advances.

Though they had no secrets between them, they had yet to cross the final boundary.

"Don't!" Nami exclaimed, halting his advance as she held him back and shot him a teasing look, stepping away.

"Well, that's okay," Arthur said, calming his breath and the heat within him, realizing he needed to be more controlled.

Nami didn't want to be distracted and feared that she might not have much time here, so she consistently avoided going further with him.

Ten minutes later, after Arthur had managed to temper his desires, Nami, her cheeks flushed, rushed into the bathroom.

"Nami, how long until you can teach the science of astronomy in Visalia?" Arthur asked as he settled onto the sofa, leaning back against it with Nami beside him.

She shook her head, "I don't know if I'll ever become a teacher."

"But for now, I already understand all the weather patterns on the Grand Line. If I have the right weapons to control air pressure and different currents, I can create various celestial phenomena!" she replied eagerly.

Arthur was aware that he needed to discover how to manipulate the weather as depicted in the original story. It seemed he would have to find time for the scientists to assist with that.

"Is that all? That's quite impressive! As long as you comprehend the climate variations across all the islands of the Grand Line, you can replicate normal astronomical phenomena in nature."

"I won't let you run all over the world, though! Just give me a child?" Arthur teased, affectionately squeezing Nami's nose.

Nami's eyes sparkled, a glimmer of excitement lighting them up. "Is the sky paradise about to open?" she asked, brimming with anticipation.

"Exactly!" Arthur confirmed with a nod. "In another week, we'll have on-site recruitment from all over the world. Once that's complete, training will commence immediately for three months."

"In three months, during the World Summit, after I participate, the sky paradise will officially be opened."

"At that point, making money will be as easy as breathing! You will be the goddess of climate, capable of bringing us different weather phenomena!" Arthur smiled, watching Nami's eyes gleam with dreams of wealth.

Since the sky island is positioned above the Calm Belt, though there are gentle breezes at seven or eight kilometers up, the airflow is too weak to create any significant climatic changes.

Consequently, if Arthur wanted weather variations, he had to rely on Nami's newfound astronomical knowledge.

The beauty of the four seasons and the charm of celestial transformations should be reflected in the floating islands, making it even more extraordinary.

Three hours later, after an affectionate hug from Nami, Arthur kissed her forehead and flew to Sky Island.

This time, he had two important issues to address. First, he needed to strengthen the scientific research team to alleviate the burden on the original scientists and expedite their research efforts.

Second, he had to tackle the problem of metal materials. Without resolving this issue, the laser weapons that could significantly ease their future challenges could not be officially produced.

In addition to these two major tasks, Arthur also had several other big and small matters to manage. After all, the World Summit was fast approaching.
