Chapter 95 - Chapter 95

Evil Dragon Park—a large mansion built by Arlong, modeled after the luxurious style of Chambord Island, served as the headquarters for the Arlong Pirates. The park was filled with fishmen who had sailed from the Grand Line, dominating the surrounding area.

As Arthur and Nami approached the park, Nami became more and more anxious. Just before they reached the gates, she suddenly stopped and backed away. "I can't go in with you," she said, quickly moving to hide nearby.

Her reasoning was simple. If Arthur couldn't defeat Arlong, she needed to be far enough away to escape, for she still had a great deal to accomplish—her village and her dream to map the world were still on her shoulders.

Arthur watched her for a moment, noticing the conflict in her eyes. Despite her caution, she clearly felt guilty about letting him go in alone. She was torn between wanting to help and her deep-seated fear of failure. Smiling to himself, Arthur turned and continued toward the park's gates.

With a slight push, the gates creaked open, and Arthur stepped into Evil Dragon Park.

Inside, Arlong's crew lounged comfortably. Some were soaking in the water, while others sat in the shade, laughing and chatting without a care in the world. Arlong himself lay back on a beach chair, lazily sipping a cold drink as he watched the sun setting.

The peaceful scene was disrupted the moment Arthur stepped inside.

"Huh? A human?" Chu, one of Arlong's officers, a fishman with a protruding mouth, looked at Arthur with confusion.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" demanded Hatchan, the six-armed fishman, as he stood up, his forehead marked with the symbol of the Sun Pirates.

Arthur's gaze landed on Arlong, who had barely acknowledged his presence. Calmly, Arthur responded, "I'm here to kill you."

The words sent a shockwave through the group.

"What did you just say?!" Krabi, another of Arlong's officers skilled in fishman karate, exploded in anger and charged at Arthur, ready to strike.

But before he could get close, Arthur's eyes flashed with intensity. His Conqueror's Haki rippled through the air, immediately overpowering Krabi and causing him to collapse, eyes rolling back in unconsciousness.

"Wha—what did you do to Krabi!?" Hatchan ran over, panicked, shaking Krabi as if trying to wake him.

Finally, Arlong's attention shifted. Slowly, he turned his head toward Arthur, his sharp fangs glinting in the fading sunlight. His expression darkened as he saw Krabi on the ground.

"What did you do to him, human?" Arlong growled, his voice menacing.

Arthur shrugged. "I knocked him out."

In truth, Arthur didn't care for theatrics, but he had promised to help Nami. And perhaps a little showmanship wouldn't hurt, given the circumstances.

Arlong narrowed his eyes, suspicion growing as he realized the human in front of him might not be ordinary. "What do you want?" he asked cautiously, sensing danger.

"I accepted a girl's request to rid the world of you," Arthur said, grinning mischievously. Then, in a louder voice, he called, "Come out, Nami!"

From a distance, Nami had been watching from the third-floor window of her small room where she'd been drawing maps. Upon hearing Arthur's words, she froze, her expression turning to one of shock and horror. Tears welled up in her eyes as anger and frustration surged within her.

"Why would you do this to me?!" she screamed, realizing Arthur had just blown her cover.

Arlong, noticing the commotion, glanced toward the third floor. "Nami?" His brow furrowed in confusion.

With an agile leap, Nami jumped down from the third-floor eaves, landing softly on the second floor before hopping to the ground. She quickly ran over to Arthur, her face flushed with both fear and fury.

Nami, enraged and panicked, grabbed Arthur's ear and yanked it hard, almost transforming into a furious dragon with sharp teeth and an exaggerated scowl.

"You idiot! Didn't you say you wouldn't blow my cover? Now I'm done for! They're going to kill me! Uuuuuuuu~" she wailed, tears welling up in her eyes as her frustration boiled over.

Arlong's face darkened as he watched the exchange. "Nami, did *you* call this person?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.

Nami's expression shifted, her tear-filled eyes locking onto Arlong, but this time they burned with deep hatred. "Yes!" she shouted. "I called him!"

Arlong's sharp-toothed grin spread across his face. "Do you really think a human can kill me, Nami? You're one of our officers, remember?"

Nami clenched her fists tightly, taking a moment to steady herself. Through gritted teeth, she replied, "He's not just a human. He's an angel—a powerful warrior from the Grand Line. He *will* kill you!"

Arlong's grin faltered, his eyes narrowing at the mention of the Grand Line. His confidence wavered as he recalled how many formidable beings came from that dangerous sea. Still, he glanced at Arthur, unimpressed.

But his survival instincts kicked in. "Nami, haven't we agreed that 100 million berries would be enough to free your village?" he said, his tone more cautious now.

Before Nami could respond, Arthur waved his hand dismissively. "Enough with the lies. We all know you never intended to keep that promise. You've been planning to take the money from her all along."

Nami's eyes widened as she turned to Arlong, silently searching for any sign that what Arthur said was true. In Arlong's cold, calculating gaze, she found her answer.

Arlong's face twitched before he erupted into laughter. "Hahahaha! So you've figured it out, huh? Well, it seems our little deal is over. But do you really think someone from the Grand Line can defeat me? You're too naive! Fishmen are naturally ten times stronger than humans!"

Arthur chuckled, unfazed. "Oh, I know. But you're nothing special, Arlong. Even Hody Jones is stronger than you. Though he had to rely on poison to do it."

The mention of Hody Jones visibly rattled Arlong. His eyes widened in disbelief. "What!? Hody... How do you know about him?" he stammered.

Arthur grinned. "Because I killed both Hody Jones and Vander Decken. That's why today is your last day."

Arlong's bravado began to crumble, fear creeping into his expression. The other fishmen around him were equally shaken, exchanging nervous glances.

"You... killed them?" Arlong muttered, his voice unsteady. He couldn't deny the rising panic in his chest. Arthur's calm confidence was unnerving.

Arthur turned to Nami. "After I deal with him, I'll be sure to let Jinbei know that Arlong is no longer a problem. Now, Nami, want to help me finish this?"

Nami's eyes filled with both anger and resolution. "All of them," she spat through gritted teeth, her voice laced with the deep pain of the years of suffering her village endured under Arlong's tyranny. Memories of her adoptive mother, Bellemere, and the villagers who suffered flashed in her mind.

"All of them!" she repeated, her eyes locking onto Arlong and his crew with a mix of vengeance and determination.

"Got it!" Arthur responded.

*Crackle—* the air sizzled as electricity filled the atmosphere around Arthur.

"100 million volts, high-temperature shock!"

Arlong's eyes widened in horror as he realized what was happening. "What!? Lightning!? A Logia user?! Noooo!!!" he screamed in desperation, remembering the terrifying powers of the Admirals.

In a blinding flash of light, the searing heat of the lightning ripped through the air, engulfing the fishmen in an instant. They didn't even have time to scream before their bodies were incinerated, turned into nothing but ash.

Nami stood there, stunned, staring in disbelief at the now-empty space where Arlong and his crew once stood. "They... they're gone... Just like that?" she muttered, her voice trembling as if she were in a dream.

Arthur, turning back to her, gently lifted her chin, resisting the urge to kiss her on the spot. Instead, he watched as her dazed eyes gradually cleared, her face turning red with realization.

"So... how was that?" Arthur asked, smiling mischievously.

Nami blinked, her cheeks flushing deeper, but there was no hiding the look of relief mixed with admiration in her eyes. Arthur had truly delivered on his promise.
