Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

"Master Jack, there's an unidentified boat ahead."

"Huh? A pirate ship!" The voice sounded gruff and hoarse.

"No, Master Jack, it's not a pirate ship. It's a very elegant boat without any markings," the lookout pirate replied tremulously.

In the Beasts Pirates crew, from Kaido to the Three Calamities, except for Queen who seems somewhat normal, the rest give off a vibe of low intelligence. They're quick to anger, much like untamed beasts, which often leads to senseless violence among the crew.

On Jack the Drought's ship, such situations are common. No one knows what the captain might do or when his wrath might strike.

Jack, known for his barbaric nature, didn't hesitate upon seeing an unfamiliar ship. He casually ordered, "Sink it."

"Yes, Master Jack!" The pirate crew swiftly prepared the cannons.

Several cannonballs were loaded, the fuses lit, and the shells were fired towards Arthur's boat.

Arthur remained calm as the cannonballs approached.

"This guy is unstable."

Using his electromagnetic field, Arthur redirected the cannonballs back towards Jack's ship.

Boom!

One of the pirate crew, who appeared to be stronger than the rest, fired more shots but soon realized they were ineffective against Arthur.

"Boss, it seems our opponent is skilled. The cannons aren't doing much," the crew member reported to Jack.

"Huh?" Jack, usually reserved, opened his eyes with a fierce glare. "Take him down!"

The crew member nodded and leaped onto Arthur's boat.

In the New World, pirates with rewards of at least 5 million Berry's are considered formidable, and those with rewards in the tens of millions are seen as major threats.

However, Arthur, with his abilities, could easily rival those with much higher bounties.

Before the pirate could make another move, a lightning bolt from the sky struck him down, sending him crashing into the sea.

"Fighting is inevitable. Before I confront Red Hair, let's settle this!" Arthur declared, charging up a powerful attack.

With a crackling sound, Arthur's left little finger surged with a 20 million volt blast, rendering Zoan users useless in the water.

In an instant, Arthur teleported onto the bow of Jack's ship, catching everyone off guard.

"You're Jack the Drought? You look as dense as a brick," Arthur remarked, unfazed by Jack's intimidating presence.

The crew, shocked by Arthur's daring, watched in astonishment as Jack prepared to retaliate with a powerful air cannon attack.

This attack may seem random, but in the first half of the Grand Line, only formidable pirates can withstand it. Their strength usually doesn't exceed a bounty of 100 million, and even then, they end up half-broken but not dead.

To Arthur, it was like a gentle breeze.

With a casual punch, Arthur shattered the concentrated air cannon, creating a powerful shockwave.

"Huh?" Jack the Drought was slightly surprised. "You're stronger than I expected, but I, Jack from the Beasts Pirates, am one of the early Calamities of the Three Plagues."

With a fierce roar, Jack charged at Arthur. As he ran, the massive pirate ship began to shake violently, its stern lifting due to the pressure on the bow.

"You're a fool to challenge the sea today!" Arthur sneered, appearing in front of Jack and aiming a punch at his chest.

Bang~

Although Jack was quick to react, he felt the impact of Arthur's punch. It would hurt, even if he could withstand it. So, he quickly withdrew part of his fist to block Arthur's attack.

"Good reflexes!" Arthur grinned. "But still too slow."

In an instant, Arthur vanished, and a bolt of lightning materialized behind Jack. The lightning condensed into a human form, transforming back into Arthur.

"100 million volts, Electric Scalpel!"

Arthur channeled electricity into his hand, shaping it like a scalpel and raising its temperature to over 3,000 degrees Celsius. With precision, he struck at Jack's back.

When~

A large black area appeared on Jack's back, a testament to his proficient Armament Haki. In terms of Haki strength, Arthur was still behind the sturdy Jack.

After all, Jack was an awakened Zou Zou no Mi fruit user, giving him an edge in physical strength.

However, Arthur's physical prowess wasn't far behind Jack's at this point. In another two years, Arthur predicted he would surpass Jack completely.

As Arthur's attack hit him and he felt the intense pain, Jack let out a beastly growl. His body suddenly expanded, showing signs of transformation.
