Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The book's pace is slow, focusing on agricultural development, so the story progresses slowly. Sometimes, it may seem forced, but there's no shortage of excitement and grandeur!

The vast snowy country is rich in unique traditions, with magnificent palaces perched a top cloud-shaped islands.

In one such palace, a once expansive garden has transformed into a massive training ground.

At its center, a boy of about eleven or twelve years old is diligently doing push-ups. What's remarkable is the strange tattoo on his back, known as a Sea Prism Stone.

This boy goes by the name Arthur, although it's not his true identity.

He's been on this island for over a year, where the leader is referred to as a god. His father, the previous god, passed away due to over indulgence and lack of exercise, succumbing to his gluttony.

At just nine years old, Arthur took on the mantle of godship. Unless something changes, he might remain the god of Bika Island for life.

However, fate takes an unexpected turn. In about ten years, he's slated to be killed by someone who consumed the Thunder Devil Fruit.

But destiny has other plans. After six months as god, Arthur falls ill and dies.

Now, this lively character is actually a person who has traveled from Earth.

When Arthur first arrived, he was in a state of panic. Everything felt oddly familiar, yet he never expected to be reborn in a world straight out of a comic book after his death.

He understood that his arrival in the One Piece world was due to certain shells with unique functions and a person named Enel.

Learning that the downtrodden person mistreated by the Sky pieans was indeed Enel, Arthur quickly grasped his surroundings.

Without this knowledge, Arthur might have just been frustrated and focused on being a good god to advance the country's development. However, understanding that strength is revered in this world, Arthur, who had lived a passive life before, didn't want to settle for mediocrity.

As a wise foreign preacher once said, given the chance, half of us would strive to become great individuals.

Arthur's goal wasn't to become a great man; he simply wanted to uphold his identity and become a true god.

His mentality underwent a significant transformation from his previous life of idleness and complacency.

Although he couldn't define his newfound mindset, top powers in this world would recognize it as the awakening of a strong will—a characteristic shared by all true top powerhouses.

A year passed since he crossed into the One Piece world. Rigorous training bestowed upon an eleven-year-old boy extraordinary strength, making him akin to a superhero by Earth's standards. Yet, Arthur knew he had much further to go. His aim was to become the strongest based solely on physical prowess.

However, he also had his sights set on something more: consuming the world's most unique Devil Fruit. And on Bika Island, Arthur suspected that his desired Devil Fruit, the Thunder Fruit, lay hidden—a prized treasure among pirates.

Knowing this world as the One Piece World, understanding his location on Bika Island, and realizing that the despised Enel hadn't consumed the Thunder Fruit, Arthur couldn't help but smirk at the irony.

Upon learning that the Thunder Fruit was still out there, Arthur immediately instructed the island's soldiers to begin searching for it. He promised that whoever found it and presented it to him would be granted noble status—a coveted reward in this world.

Nobility is a highly sought-after status among the people here, so such a reward was fitting.

Simultaneously, Arthur enlisted Enel's help in the search. He wasn't concerned about someone else consuming the fruit because he believed in his own strength even without it.

He chose Enel because, according to the original story, Enel showed great aptitude and could be trained systematically to become even stronger. Additionally, it's possible that only Enel, who originally consumed the Thunder Fruit, could locate it.

Around the training grounds, guards occasionally glanced at Arthur with admiration and respect. Though they didn't interact much, they sensed the growing aura of power and strength emanating from this young god.

The sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the area.

Arthur didn't pause his push-ups but kept going. His goal for today was still over a thousand repetitions away.

"God! We've found the fruit you asked us to look for!" exclaimed an elderly lady, accompanied by a young man with unusually long earlobes, holding a box with excitement as they approached Arthur.

Arthur, mid-push-up, turned his head swiftly, a hint of surprise in his eyes.

"I really left it to Enel to find. It seems only Enel could locate this fruit," he thought to himself.

As Arthur turned his head, he caught sight of the box in Enel's hand. It bore a peculiar pattern resembling the ancient decorations of Bika Island, along with a drum adorned with three-hook jade.

He signaled to the side, and a guard promptly lifted a heavy iron cloud weighing two or three tons.

Brushing off imaginary dust from his hands, Arthur walked over to Enel excitedly and slowly opened the box.

A blue-purple fruit adorned with thunder-like patterns caught Arthur's attention as he took it out of the box.

Inspecting the fruit, Arthur also noticed drawings on the bottom of the box. With a quick glance, he recognized them as the blueprint of the Ark of Proverbs.

However, at that moment, the blueprint wasn't as enticing as the fruit in his hand. There was no doubt in his mind that it was indeed the Thunder Fruit—a key to strength or a shortcut, depending on how one used it.

Despite obtaining the fruit, Arthur refrained from immediately instructing anyone to consume it. Instead, he examined it closely.

He didn't want to rush into consuming the fruit and risk becoming a laughingstock. Even if he found the real Thunder Fruit later, it wouldn't be possible to consume it then.

After carefully confirming multiple times, Arthur was convinced that what he held was indeed the Thunder Fruit.

Gulp~

Arthur's nerves were on edge as he prepared to consume the strange fruit for the first time. He wondered what kind of reaction it would trigger.

With a click, Arthur took a cautious bite, refraining from chewing and swallowing it whole. The comics had warned multiple times about how unappetizing the fruit was.

Almost immediately, a wave of nausea hit him. Despite swallowing it whole, the foul smell of the fruit made Arthur feel sick.

He silently hoped no one would compare the taste to feces, lest they think he had eaten "paba."

After a whirlwind of thoughts, Arthur felt a surge of incredibly potent yet familiar power coursing through his body!

Zi Zi Zi Zi ~

A blue-violet electric arc emanated from him, and he marveled at how he could control this violent natural force.

"This is incredible!" Arthur exclaimed, a smile forming at the corners of his mouth.

A thunderous roar echoed, and bolts of lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating the day with dazzling light that caught the attention of all the people on Bika Island.

"This is the power of sky thunder!"
