Luke nodded and retreated to his quarters, his body weighed down by exhaustion. The simple room held a cot, a desk, and a window overlooking Dresdor's vibrant streets. He barely managed to remove his armor before collapsing onto the cot, the events of the past days replaying in his mind.
Sleep claimed him quickly, but it was not the peaceful slumber he had hoped for. Instead, he found himself in a dreamscape—a void filled with flickering flames and shadows. The stele stirred within him, humming louder than ever before.
In the distance, a massive, glowing obelisk loomed, its surface etched with runes identical to those on the amulet. As Luke approached, a voice resonated through the void, deep and commanding.
"Seeker of Fire… the Trial of Embers awaits. Are you prepared to claim the legacy of the Ignis?"
