"Is this some kind of trap to set me up, so you can lock me up for treason?" Asked Vulcan, but knew it wasn't.

He had already some idea about Lucius being a royal prince but to have it proven by not only the man himself but the Marchioness to back it up.

"If you think we are lying then here," Valeria took out a binding contract. "I will sign my name along with yours here to prove that I am speaking the truth. If I am lying then the binding agreement will kill me on the spot. Will that satisfy your paranoia?" She said as she began writing something down on the binding contract and showing it to Vulcan.

"No, that's enough for me to trust you, for now. So you mind explaining more about this partnership you wish for me to join?" Vulcan asked as his party sheathed their weapons.

"First, let's get out of here. Hop in, let's take a short ride." Said Valeria as she got into the carriage first followed by her butler.
