The past few weeks have been nothing but pure bliss. I had never felt so relaxed like I did whenever I was with her. Although the plan was to get closer to her in order to know what she was up to and why she was in our pack in the first place, even if she was brought against her. We thought she was making it all up.
But I never expected her to be so guarded about her life, which made me wonder what dark secret she held in that mysterious life of hers.
"Good morning, Alpha," Lizzy greeted, bowing her head in respect and interrupting my train of thought. I nodded my head in response to her greeting as I made my way to the pack's general house.
Pack warriors that were situated at strategic places around the pack all bowed their heads the moment they sighted me.
