"It's quite obvious, isn't it?" I said to him, I wasn't someone who had everything all planned out or arranged but I could say I had things going the way I liked them.
"So when do you plan on coming back home?" Calian asked me, come to think of it, it's been a while since I went to the old house.
"I'll come tomorrow after visiting the palace," it was high time I went back, it would also be easy for Ashely to continue her training since we had more equipment than the Willow house.
"Why the hell do you need to go back to the palace?" He asked with anger in his voice which surprised me very much.
"I'm going to see Adrian," I told him, trying to remain as calm as possible. "Diane, what is wrong with you? After everything that transpired between you two, how would you go back there?" He was furious this time that he raised his voice.
"Calian, what's wrong?" I asked confused, "is there something I am supposed to know?" A frown on my face. He raised an eyebrow but said nothing, I could tell he was just as confused as I was, was there something I was supposed to know? Is Gianna hiding something from me? Or am I missing something, just immediately Gianna walking in catching our attention.
"Calian we didn't expect you," she said looking straight into his eye like she was trying to pass information.
"I heard Diane was staying here so I dropped by to see her," he said briefly, he and Gianna never really got along, since they were young the duo had been 'pulling each other's hair out'.
"Ohh I see.... Hmm, Calian can I speak with you for a minute?" He excused himself and left me to my undying thoughts.

I packed my bags since I'll be moving back to Scarlet old house today, though I had so many second thoughts about going to the palace today after my talk with Calian yesterday I still kept with my plan on going.
THIRD PERSON POV
After getting her things and carefully arranging in her car, she told her sister about her plans on moving Ashley's training to the old house which Gianna didn't object to.
Diane made her way to the palace as Adrian was waiting for her.
"Miss Diane, you've arrived," The head maid greeted her.
"Yes Mary, where is Adrian?" Diane flashed her teeth at her.
"His highness should be in his office," Mary told her, "would you like me to show you to his office?" the older woman offered, but Diane refused saying she could find her way. The duo parted ways without realising an extra body there.
Isabelle came out of the place she was hiding watching Diane as she made her way to Adrian's office with hatred evident in her eyes. She wondered what exactly Adrian found in a woman who was as vulgar looking as Diane, the thought brought her back to the way the head maid smiled at Diane earlier made her irk allover, they were all a bunch of fools who couldn't tell the difference between elegant and vulgar which to Isabelle was quite disgusting.
"Miss Isabelle, is there something you need help with?" One of the maids who noticed her staring at Diane.
"Oh, I don't need anything," coming back to reality.
"OK, that's good," the maid said, causing Isabelle a sigh of relief. "But ma'am, it's best you go back to your room as Miss Diane is around," the maid reminded her. Her words infuriated Isabelle, had it gotten to the stage where a lowly maid would talk to her in such a manner and the only person she had to blame was no one except Diane! What did she even give these people that Isabelle was missing?
Without saying a word she forced a smile at the maid and left. She banged the door immediately she got to her room, she was so frustrated that she didn't know what to do. Looking round her room she laid her eyes on her phone which she picked up and dialled a number.
"Hey, something terrible happened," she said to the person on the other line.
"She's back, Diane is back!"
"How am I supposed to know, they said she lost her memory and can't remember what happened that year," she reported
"And you feel threatened by her return?" The person on the other line said.
"Why would I be, am I more worried about you and your plans?"
"Why should you be bothered about that?"
"Didn't you want her out of the way?"
"And so?"
"I can help you," Isabelle offered.
"So you accept to get your hands dirty?" The person asked.
"If it means she won't appear in front of me again."
"Just so you know, without your help I would have done what I wanted!" The person said and the call went off.
Isabelle, having noticed that the call had gone off, threw the phone somewhere on the bed and screamed, "imbecile!"
She would endure every insult until she got what she wanted, she suddenly felt thirsty, knowing that she couldn't get any maid that would be willing to get it for her, she left her room for the kitchen.
As she made her way she spotted Diane and Adrian walking hand in hand, looking at them she clutched her hands together. She noticed Diane walking up to her, she realised it was a cue for her to walk away but she could bring herself to leave.
"Sorry, do I know you?" Diane walked up to her and asked. 'Of course you do,' Isabelle said in her head.
"No, I don't think so," saying this she made eye contact with Adrian who glared at her like a beast.
"You sure, because I find you very familiar," Diane told her. How was Isabelle going to get out of this, this was the last thing she wanted, so she looked at Adrian for help without bothering about the look on his face.
"My love, you must have seen her in one of those pictures in the office, she's Isabelle, my very distant cousin, she's here for vacation," Adrian lied.
"Really?" Diane asked, surprised. "But how come I've never seen you before?" Her question surprised both Adrian and Isabelle. "Anyways, it nice to meet Isabelle, I honestly hope we can be friends," she flashed a smile and extended her hands to shake Isabelle's. Isabelle looked at Diane for a while before taking her hand.
Adrian who watched the duo in surprise, would it that Diane lost her memory or was she planning a scheme?
