Vlad's eyes widened as he saw a dark whip dashing toward his head with the strength to send it flying away. Before it could strike, Freya appeared before him, raising her shield just in time to intercept the blow.
"BOOMMM!"
An overwhelming kinetic blast echoed as the dark whip struck the shield, the force sending the Viking princess skidding backward. Vlad reacted extremely fast, grabbing hold of Freya's body. He immediately leaped back with her, reducing the strength of the impact and preventing them from falling off the bridge.
Jormungandr was shocked to see that whip sent the duo flying, but he had no time to be distracted.
