Huntu's perception warned him of immense danger coming from behind. Unfortunately, he had been so focused on Vlad's barrage and searching for an opening that he neglected it, allowing a shield charged with immense power to crash into him.
"BOOOMMM!"
The shield struck with overwhelming force on the back of the High Champion Abyssal Demon, breaking his stance, fracturing his bones, and pushing him forward with overwhelming strength. This was exactly what Vlad had been waiting for as he drove his blades forward, each aimed at the demon's shoulders.
Normally, Vlad's blades would not have been able to pierce the dark red lightning mantle, but with the impulse from the shield, they did. Immediately, the Depravita of Wrath unleashed the last stream of his energy, destroying the bones around his blades, obliterating Huntu's shoulders, and causing his arms to fall to the ground.
