As the girls walked through the now nearly empty streets, they could clearly notice that they were being avoided by commoners. Even though this was the capital where the king lived, none of them wanted to entertain the possibility of trouble. It was sadly more common than not for a rowdy kid or a rude elder to start an argument with nobles so the people started to choose distance.
While Sara and Lilia looked around with a worried face, Roberta behind them knew exactly what was happening. The two girls didn't face such treatment in their home city since the people knew them well there, and they didn't face it on their travel since none knew who they were.
