Chapter 124 - House of Horrors

Anala and the girls reached her house, a small, two-story mansion on the outskirts of the village. Bats clapped beneath the old gothic windows and tiles as her old dogs barked at the strangers approaching. Beneath the moonlight, the shadows of the large veins and vegetation covering the eastern side of the mansion washed over the rusted iron gate as it creaked open.

With a single step inside, the dogs stopped and barked as they smelled Anala. They rushed to her, panting and wagging their tails in excitement. Sara and Lilia walked inside and looked around, immediately noticing the graves in the garden, there were twelve of them on each side of the main path that led straight to the mansion's entrance. Just by reading the names written on them, they knew they were the graves of Anala's family, she outlived them all, even her grandchildren.
