Liam walked toward the tables and sat down, looking at the stage above where Walter sat with the city's lord. Some of the nobles started hushing their daughters to rush and grab a seat beside Liam, but those places were immediately filled. Alice, Sara, Lilia, and Melany took those places.
"Thank you all for being here on this important day." The city lord stood, carrying a glass of wine in his hand. "I hereby announce the birth of a new hero…is what I want to say…But Liam suggested to wait." He shook his head, "He said that it's best to keep his presence a mere rumor to rattle the ranks of the demons and give him an opening to strike."
