After one day, Liam had recovered enough to walk but was still sluggish due to countless scar tissue in his muscles and organs. The knights had managed to reach the edge of the forest and camped, which allowed the investigation to start.
Liam walked out of the carriage with Alice, Roberta, Melany, Sara, and Lilia, the nymph was already outside with the knights guarding them.
"Liam…why are we two here?" Sara asked with a worried face.
"Yeah, if this soul eater you talk about is that dangerous…" Lilia approached, "Shouldn't we leave? We can contentious our journey." She pointed at the road.
