"How is he doing?" Walter asked as he sat on a wooden chair, one of the maids running across the hallway stopped and looked at him. "Master Liam is stable. All of his wounds were healed, but the poison coupled with the exhaustion and blood loss had pushed him too far. He didn't wake up." She replied with a sad face.
"I've seen it…the crater left by that explosion, it's almost twenty meters wide. The ground itself had melted and the stones scattered on the ground had shattered into gravel. He took that face first." Walter looked at the maid, "If it had exploded on us, none would've survived. Did he pull the assassin into this dimension to save us? He knew he was about to blow up…"
"I don't know…" The maid replied, looking down, "We've only started working for him today. I can't guess what Master was thinking."
