Walter looked at Liam, "You can have this demonic sanctuary, but please don't tell anyone." He smiled, "Benedict's death is a sad thing. We can't learn anything from him now, but all is good."
At that moment, the office's window shattered and Roberta flew in, swinging her rifle's bayonet at Liam's chest. "Bastard! What did you do to me?" She growled.
Liam blocked her attack with his sword, "Look, Benedict is dead." He clenched a fist, "Scram away, guard dog, there is nothing for you to protect here." As he swung at her face she tried to catch his arm with her chain, but the Hakai smashes knocked it away and she got punched.
As Roberta's body rolled on the ground, "You know it, don't you?" Liam approached her, "The only one who died today is the one holding your leash."
"No…how did you manage to kill him?" She growled, "That accursed barrier and the seals of magic…all the maids would've died."
