Emma looked at the sleeping Merlin with a smile. "She must've been really tired." She then went back into cooking and tried her best not to make much noise.
The main door opened as Alice and Liam walked in. The two looked around and their eyes stopped on Emma.
"Did everyone settle down?" Liam asked as he approached the counter.
"They are up getting their rooms ready." Emma whispered and pointed at Merlin. "She's taking a nap."
Liam looked and saw Merlin asleep beside the fireplace. "She can sleep sitting?" He smiled.
"Probably slept a lot on her desk while studying magic." Alice sat beside him, "Do you have anything to eat?"
"I'm getting lunch ready, please wait a few minutes. In the meantime, you can have this." She gave them two loaves of scorching hot bread fresh out of the oven and a fist-sized slab of butter that she made fresh this morning.
