Alice walked out of the hunter's hut and went to the villagers to inform them of what was happening. Even the wyverns had come to Jack in his final hours, it wasn't right for the villagers to leave him alone. But sadly the moment the villagers started heading toward the hut, Sweetnight looked at the sky and started roaring, Jack had passed out.
With each roar, the other wyverns repeated after him, shaking the whole village as they flapped their wings. The villagers held to the houses and fences so as not to get flung away.
"It can't be. We're too late." Alice gasped and ran toward the hunter's hut only to see Melany walking out. She shook her head, "Jack had passed out."
Wyverns are part of the draconic bloodline of monsters; they can sense mana in people, monsters, and even the ground itself. They sensed death around Jack, which was his magic circuit slowly shutting down, and thus came to watch him in his last minutes.
