The city lord and Ricardo arrived at the city's entrance right after dawn, disguised so people wouldn't recognize them. They could see Liam and the group almost ready to set off. The lord approached Liam, "Be careful, the road is dangerous."
"The lord," Liam turned to him with a smile, "Don't worry, we have the best navigator with us." He looked at Selena sitting at the back of the carriage.
"If you listen to her… that is." Ricardo looked at Liam with a passive face. "Keep to the main road. Avoid mountain ranges due to griffins and large eagles. Goblins and wolves can make forests even more dangerous, but the one thing to watch for is…"
"Wyverns, I know, we'll avoid their habitat as much as we can. And before you say anything, I know about the stray groups, I'll keep an eye out for them." Liam stared back at him with a grin.
Ricardo sighed, "Just what are you? Most adventurers never think about those things."
