Liam opened his eyes, feeling something heavy on his chest. He looked down at his bed, seeing the sheets bulging. He gently lifted them and saw Melany asleep there, curled like a cat on his chest.
"You room in on the other side." He rolled to the side and pushed her away. He then covered her up and stretched his arms.
Was I too exhausted to sense her coming in? It's been two days straight with questionable sleep; it was bound to happen with this human body. He looked at his arms; they were indeed muscular, but not as much as he wanted them to be.
Liam approached the window and looked up. It wasn't that long since the sun rose up, his internal clock was still fine. He quickly approached the large box beside his bed and pulled out a set of common clothes.
After changing, he silently walked out of the room to let Melany sleep. Seeing the empty hallway, Liam walked down to the water tanks and washed his face before heading downstairs to the canteen.
