As the carriage set off into the forest, Liam looked at the trees as they passed them with a passive face, feeling the mana of nature sparkling around them. A natural land undisturbed for decades, monsters thrive here as humans only use the road to pass and rarely venture too deep into the woods.
Melany was the one driving and he watched her with a smile, "That's it, don't pull too hard and let the horses move relaxed. Just enough so they keep you in mind. But not too much until they get stressed."
Selena looked around, "It's my first time seeing it, the Forest of Iron. I expected a scarier place, but I was wrong, it looks just like Tav's forest."
"That isn't right." Alice's voice came from the back, "This forest is several times more dangerous. I can see that thanks to my [Hawk's eye] skill. The number and power of monsters here should be in a higher league than Tav's forest."
