Liu Xinyu came back and went straight to the kitchen. She started preparing the ingredients neatly. Her movements were practiced and it could be seen that she was really good at it.
"Do you need help?"
Liu Xinyu looked at Nan Xing and shook her head, "No, you are a guest. I can't let you work." She thought about something and asked, "Are you hungry? How about having some fruits?"
"No, I'm alright," replied Nan Xing. She didn't know what else to do as she was of no help. "Looking at you working like this, it seems like I'm in for a treat."
"There isn't much time. So, I'm only gonna stir-fry a couple of things. I hope you'll like them," said Liu Xinyu. She really didn't plan to make anything fancy as there was no time for that. There were already dumplings and dumpling soup, so she added a dish of stir-fried chicken with broccoli, stir-fried green beans, and cucumber salad.
