Her parents stayed true to their words.
They did come back for her, another 2 more times to be exact. The first time insisting that she should apologise to her sister for all the hurt she caused. And the second time, coming back to scream at her for being selfish and unreasonable.
And that was today.
Her mother first came barging into the room through the doors as her father trailed behind. The sudden bang of the door hitting against the wall startled her, destroying the peace and quiet that once cocooned the single ward.
"Are you really not going to do it? Your sister is crying her eyes out every day, do you not care at all?"
"No," she responded curtly, not even looking up from the book in her hands to spare them a glance.
"And stop calling that piece of trash my sister," she added, earning a scoff from her mother who rolled her eyes dramatically too.
