Tension crackled in the air as silence settled among them for a brief moment before a loud voice pierced through it.
"Oh really? I'm going to call the cops," Hannah watched as her father threatened the man with a frown etched onto his face as he reached for his phone in his back pocket.
"Fine! I will leave!" The man declared with a disgruntled look plastered across his face. They watched as he spun around to leave but stopped right by the door, turning around to look at them one last time. His eyes were boring right into Hannah's, a fiery blaze in the depth of his dark eyes. "But I will be back for you, Hannah," he warned as the corners of his lips slowly twisted upwards into a smirk before storming off.
"Don't you ever dare come back here!" Her father yelled again behind him but the man didn't care enough to reply or turn around to spare them another glance as he simply walked off.
