Almost immediately, Alexandra felt her blood chilled. She froze briefly while her mind registered what had just happened and a hint of recognition flashed past her dark brown eyes in an instant. It clicked inside her head. She could recognise that voice from anywhere now, it seemed that she couldn't escape from this voice that she loathed.
Simultaneously, both Alexandra and Caleb snapped their heads around and their eyes shot wide open this time. They found themselves staring into the pair of green eyes, one that they weren't strangers to.
It was Elisha who was standing before them, smugness radiating off her body as she strolled into the apartment casually, coming in through the door that was left ajar. Disbelief and shock were written all over their faces and a million questions popped into their heads. They watched as the corners of her lips twisted upwards into a knowing smirk and her eyes twinkled with a blend of satisfaction and delight.
