LORD NIKO'S POV
Three days of waiting for Advisor Maxwell to return drove me crazy with anxiety. I spent time in the library reading books to distract myself and even went ahead to listen to the reports from Claudio, Lenora, and Aunty Tharn.
Cedric complained that he could feel my worry and I was distracted. At some point, I went into Advisor Maxwell's house and slept for an hour. It was Talon who found me and dragged me back to our chambers. I was exhausted and fell asleep.
Early in the morning, I got up and sat by the couch in the corner of the room. I watched as Talon slithered out of bed and walked over to stand before me.
" Brother, you have realized that we can all feel your emotions. Talon stated.
" How long will Maxwell spend time out of Sith?" I cursed and stood up.
" Be patient " Talon pulled me to the balcony with a soft snoring Cedric was on the bed cuddling with SIlas.
" How? " I raised an eyebrow.
