GENERAL EMMETT'S POV
After Lord Niko left, I locked myself up in the barracks and buried myself in work. Luna came to visit late in the evening and we sat by the open balcony sipping coffee.
" I am surprised to see you here "
" I am here because something is bothering me, " She confessed.
" Cedric, " I nodded.
" No General Emmet, not Cedric but Elisera. I know that we sent him to Sith with the confidence that he would infiltrate the castle and give us information. But we never expected that the Lords would take a liking to him. I purposely stalled to get Angelina and ensured they never met. I knew that Angelina would sprout the nonsense that the unity of Sith and Elisera all depended on the birth of Cedric. And If Lord Niko would have heard those words, I can assure you, we would never see Cedric again. "
" I understand, " I nodded at her.
