MAXWELL'S POV
Leaving Sith Mountain, I felt the weight of the mission settles on my shoulders. His Highness Louis, Sybill, Lord Niko, Silas, Talon, and Master Cedric agreed that Draego Mountain was the key. Somewhere in its heart, a dark force had risen, threatening the very existence of the dragon eggs. I have never been one to shy away from danger, but… this feels different.
The air around Sith Mountain was always cold, but today it seemed to bite more deeply, a reminder of what lay ahead. The memory of their faces—serious, resolute—lingered in my mind. Louis had been the most composed, but beneath his calm demeanor, I could sense the tension. He did not say it outright, but we both knew: that Draego was no ordinary mountain. Whatever evil had awakened in the mountains, Draego would be able to detect it as it was older than any of us.
