My mind was lost in thought as I played the words that Niko spoke when he visited my jail cell. I was so surprised to see him and my ego got the best of me as I responded to him and maintained a barrier between us refusing to acknowledge my wrongs and choosing to be arrogant.
"Niko Sith, I am about to meet your cruelty, right?" I spoke up.
"Yes," he replied firmly. "I am tasked with protecting the realm, keeping everyone safe, and ensuring the coven thrives. But how can I do that when the likes of you exist?"
