Sleep eluded me as I stood at the border of Sith Mountain at night, listening in to the mountain wondering where the fucking creature was. I had felt its thirst for killing and blood as we chased it with Emmet. The remorse I felt when I came from Sith Mountain and was informed of how the creature almost buried Cedric pushed me into a somber state.
"I am tired Maxwell, I need sleep "I heard Emmet's voice behind me as he paced up and down in waiting.
'" Go to my quarters and get to bed, I promise to join you once I am done or Jasper arrives from Elisera. "I explained but I knew that I was making excuses.
"You are here because you can't accept the fact that we were defeated, and you want to see if you can catch the creature by yourself. "Emmet snapped at me.
