" They are out to kill you and that is why they sent so many guards after you" I informed Jasper as we circled round and round in the mountain leaving no trail the Guards of General Adora kept following us all the way and it irked me.
Jasper chuckled and responded " I am not easy to kill Advisor Maxwell. Let them come at me. I will give them what they are seeking."
" You seem to be a magnet for trouble " I responded and then moved with vampire speed and hit the five guards that were approaching on the neck, rendering them unconscious, and then circled back waiting for the other guards to appear.
" I thought he was alone. I can sense someone else's presence " One of the guards whispered.
" Let us move ahead and see, " The other guard responded.
" I suggest that we remain put. I have a bad feeling about this ' The last guard spoke up and her voice sounded like the guard that came to Aaron and Beatrix's little manor.
