Infinity stood near the lake of blood, his piercing gaze fixed on the dark waters. Vanetti staggered toward him, her body slowly regenerating from the brutal wounds inflicted upon her.
Vanetti: The boy isn't an ordinary guy.
Infinity: Let things be as they are; the twins have already warned Mars that he's about to die.
Vanetti: You're sending the twins?
Infinity: What's about to happen is something they never expected.
Meanwhile, in Gowntown, Yuzuki was pushing herself to the limit in training, her strength improving at an alarming rate.
Mars: And beautiful too.
Misa: What do you mean?
Mars cleared his throat awkwardly.
Mars: Umm, nothing.
Yuzuki had become a powerful warrior, her determination unwavering. But elsewhere, in the darker corners of Gowntown, a drunk man stumbled through the empty streets. A chilling sensation crept up his spine as he sensed something behind him.
Drunk Man: Who's there?
A shadow darted forward, and in a fraction of a second, an iron rod pierced through his eyes. Blood sprayed in all directions as his lifeless body crumpled to the ground.
That evening, Mars, Misa, and Mike arrived to investigate the brutal murder.
Mars: This was savage. The killer drove a rod straight through his eyes.
Mike: Thanks for stating the obvious.
Mars: The real question is—who could have done this?
Mike: You guys keep looking into that. I'm going to find Yuzuki—I haven't seen her all afternoon.
Mike walked off to search for her. Meanwhile, Yuzuki remained in the training ground, still focused on becoming stronger, determined to match Misa and the others. She continued her exercises, beads of sweat rolling down her face, but then—she felt it.
A presence.
Yuzuki: Someone's here?
She hesitated before brushing it off and resuming her training. But the feeling returned—stronger this time. Someone was watching her.
She straightened, gripping her sword. Her eyes darted around the empty training field, searching for movement.
Yuzuki: Show yourself.
Silence.
Then—footsteps. Slow, deliberate.
Yuzuki whirled around just as a massive, hulking figure lunged at her. A sharp pain tore through her back. She gasped as warm blood oozed from the deep slash across her spine, her knees buckling slightly.
Yuzuki: Who... are you?
The figure stepped into the moonlight, revealing his monstrous form.
Beast 1: You can call me Beast.
Yuzuki: What do you want?
Beast 1: Blood.
Despite her injury, Yuzuki tightened her grip on her sword, refusing to fall. Her vision blurred from the blood loss, but she steadied herself, determined to fight.
Meanwhile, Mike continued his search, scanning the town.
Mike: Oh yeah, she must be at the training ground.
