Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Wait what?

Here's an extended and enriched version of the story with added interactions, dialogue, and details to reach approximately 1000 words:

Feeling someone shake him, Hiroya groaned, burrowing deeper into his pillow. A soft warmth pressed against his chest, making the idea of getting up even more unbearable.

"Hiroya, wake up!" Rio's sharp voice pierced through his groggy haze.

He squinted, cracking one eye open to see her standing by the bed, arms crossed and foot tapping impatiently. "What?" he muttered hoarsely, his voice rasping from sleep.

"You're going to be late for school!"

Hiroya groaned louder in protest. "School…?" He frowned, his sleep-addled brain struggling to process her words. As he stirred, he became acutely aware of something—or rather, someone—pressed against him.

Looking down, his breath hitched. At some point during the night, Sister Ririna had rolled over and was now curled up against him, her arms draped loosely over his chest. Her soft, steady breathing tickled his neck, and the faint floral scent of her shampoo filled the air. The sensation of her warmth was… distracting.

Without thinking, Hiroya's arm instinctively tightened around her slim waist, pulling her closer. Her head fit perfectly in the crook of his arm.

It felt quite.....comfortable.

So Hiroya did what every man would do.

Went back to sleep while hugging the soft and warm Ririna, enjoying the sensation.

But Rio's screech shattered the moment. "What do you think you're doing, you idiot!?"

"What?" Hiroya replied lazily, not bothering to open his eyes.

"You're hugging her! Let go, you pervert!" she shouted, her face flushed with anger.

Hiroya ignored her.

"You—! Argh!" Rio stormed forward and pinched his nose hard. "Let go! Let go!"

"Fine, fine!" Hiroya grumbled, reluctantly letting go of Ririna and rolling out of bed. His movement jolted her awake, her eyelids fluttering open.

"Hmm?" Ririna blinked sleepily, her gaze meeting Hiroya's for a brief moment. Realization dawned as her eyes widened. "Ah—!" Her face turned beet red, and she quickly scooted back, pulling the blanket up to her chin. "I… I didn't mean to—"

"Stop apologizing to him!" Rio snapped, pointing accusingly at Hiroya. "He's the one who should apologize for being a shameless creep."

Hiroya yawned, ignoring her tirade as he shuffled toward the bathroom. "You're too loud in the morning, Rio."

"You're infuriating!" Rio shouted after him, her hands clenched into fists. She huffed and turned to Ririna, who was still blushing furiously. "Are you okay? You shouldn't let him—ugh, he's so annoying!"

"I-I'm fine," Ririna stammered, averting her gaze. Her thoughts betrayed her, though, as she replayed the sensation of Hiroya's arm around her. Her cheeks grew even warmer.

In the bathroom, Hiroya splashed cold water on his face before staring at his reflection in the mirror. His lips curled into a satisfied smirk. Ever since he had been thrown into this strange world, things had been going surprisingly well. He wasn't just surviving—he was thriving.

"Status screen," he muttered, and the familiar blue panel materialized before his eyes.

Hiroya grinned. With his recent windfall, he could afford to buy several skills he had previously only dreamed of acquiring. His knowledge base would expand exponentially.

With a quick mental calculation, he confirmed his finances. Even after paying the necessary taxes, he had more than enough to live comfortably. But who needed comfort when you could have absolute dominance?

As the knowledge from his newly purchased skills flooded his mind, Hiroya grabbed the sink for support, his vision momentarily blurring. The sensation was overwhelming like his brain was being rewired at lightning speed.

When it finally subsided, he took a deep breath and looked at his reflection. His cheeks were flushed, and sweat trickled down his temple, but his eyes sparkled with newfound confidence.

"Hiroya? Are you okay in there?" Riruru's voice came from the other side of the door. "You're making weird noises."

Hiroya's brow twitched. He swung the door open to find his younger sister standing there, her head tilted in curiosity. "What?" he asked, his tone flat.

"Nothing! You just sounded… weird," Riruru replied, frowning. "Are you sick or something?"

Hiroya stared at her for a moment before patting her head. "No. I'm fine. Now go bother someone else."

Riruru blinked, startled by the uncharacteristic gesture. As he walked past her, she muttered, "What's his problem?"

Downstairs, the family gathered for breakfast. Their mother busied herself in the kitchen while Sister Ririna, still red-faced, avoided looking directly at Hiroya. Rio, on the other hand, kept shooting him glares over her toast.

"We're leaving," Hiroya said after finishing his meal, standing up and grabbing his bag.

"Have a good day!" their mother called out cheerfully as the trio headed out the door.

"They're gone…" Ririna murmured, staring at the closed door. A vague sense of emptiness settled in her chest.

"Ririna, want some pancakes?" their mother asked, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Sure…" she replied, letting herself be dragged back into the kitchen.

At the school gates, the siblings were greeted by an unexpected sight. A tall, imposing woman stood waiting for them. She had sharp blue hair and an aura of authority that was hard to ignore.

"I am Investigating Officer Akane Kurozawa," she announced, holding up a badge. Her gaze was as piercing as her voice was steady. "There are some questions I need to ask you, Hiroya. Please cooperate."

Rio and Riruru froze, their faces pale. Hiroya, however, stared at her with a mix of surprise and recognition.

'Akane Kurozawa… That name. That face. Damn it, it's her—the time-traveling officer from that H-manga!'

For a brief moment, his carefully maintained composure slipped, but he quickly recovered, plastering on a polite smile. "Of course, Officer. How can I help you?"

As her sharp eyes bore into him, Hiroya's mind raced. This world just kept getting more complicated.

This expanded version adds more natural interactions between the characters, details about Hiroya's thoughts and abilities, and builds up tension toward the introduction of Akane Kurozawa. It provides more depth to the siblings' dynamics and keeps the narrative engaging.
