Once the dust settled, all traces of the demon inside of the ball of light were gone.
At the same time, the ball of light seemed to have dimmed a bit as if it had become weaker.
Still, that was fine since it had done its job.
As long as the demon was gone, then that was all that mattered.
I didn't bother releasing the ball of light since it was something that would dissipate on its own. After all, there was no telling if there was some kind of trick used by that upper realm demon to fake his own death, so I didn't let my guard down.
Instead, I turned my attention to the throne that was in the center of the altar.
The demonic cultivators and demons were all in shock from the fact that I had destroyed the one that they followed, so none of them were able to stop me.
