I just stared at the body of the bookworm that was lying there with a cautious look in my eyes.
The last time that I thought that it was dead, it just turned out that this bookworm was pretending. It had used that opportunity to suddenly attack me with that thing that had caused me to lose consciousness.
I wouldn't let the same thing happen.
But no matter how I looked at it, it really didn't seem like the bookworm was pretending this time.
Still, I didn't take any chances as I summoned out the flames from before.
I immediately sent the balls of flames out to surround the bookworm and was prepared to burn it if anything happened.
Even then, it didn't seem like the bookworm was planning on doing anything.
Slowly and slowly, I brought one of the balls of flames down towards the bookworm. I brought it down to one of the legs of the worm to see if it would react at all to this.
