I couldn't help letting this yawn escape from my mouth as we waited at the gate of Mist Flower City.
Today was the day that the Demon Slaying Conference began, which was why we were all gathered in front of the gate like this. What we were waiting for now was the higher ups from the Central Sect Alliance to announce the beginning of the Demon Slaying Conference.
It wasn't because of the Demon Slaying Conference that I was tired.
It was because of the punishment that I received for what happened two nights ago that I was tired.
Since that night, I have never been allowed to sleep alone.
My room had been turned into a communal sleeping room, though it wasn't for everyone to sleep in. There were only the girls that slept in my room as if they were guarding me, but they didn't even let me sleep in my own bed.
I was pushed to the floor by them and they kept the bed for themselves.
In a way, that was the punishment.
