Sensing this, I could guess what this staff was.
It should be the symbol of the once great empire that had existed in this place and the power of faith that the system talked about was the concentrated power of the nation.
There was a saying that the divine right to rule was given by god, but in truth…most power to rule came from the people.
The gathered power of the people was not weak, especially for a powerful empire that fell with time.
It was no wonder the invader was using that staff that concentrated the power of this once great nation as a conduit for their descent into this lower realm.
It certainly should have more than enough power to sustain them, but there was still one fatal flaw that couldn't be ignored.
