"What?! Hannyabal lost contact? Fugitive's on the third floor already?"
Sadichan, who was still on the fourth floor, was also stunned after receiving the news. The second floor was completely lost, and even the surveillance Den Den Mushi was disabled.
"Yeah, he's on the third floor and now a warden is taking people–"
The line went dead before he finished.
"What's going on? Did the third floor fall too?"
Even with Sadi-chan's usual S-personality, worry gnawed at her. This fugitive was tearing through the floors, leaving a trail of silence behind.
Now the third floor was out of contact too.
"Has the warden come up yet?" Sadi-chan asked the guard beside her, her voice tight.
The jailer sighed. "The warden... well, you know. Still stuck on the toilet. Ten hours already!"
Magellan's situation was just plain bizarre. Ten hours of bathroom breaks, eight hours of sleep - that left only six hours for work and meals. Crazy.
"Sounds like trouble," a voice said. Sadi-chan tensed. "Luo Ning escaped?"
"S-Shiryu? What are you doing here?" Sadi, despite her love of torture, couldn't stand Shiryu. The guy loved killing, plain and simple. He clashed with pretty much everyone.
That's why Shiryu kept to himself on other floors. He just wanted to avoid trouble. But the warden's lackey mentioned an escapee heading down, not up, right around the time Luo Ning entered floor two.
"Never mind that. What's happening?" Shiryu cut to the chase. He only cared about Luo Ning.
"He's already on the third floor. Hannyabal lost contact after taking people to the second floor. The connection on the third floor just cut out too. Looks like he's almost through."
Sadi chan knew she wasn't Shiryu's match, he was their strongest fighter right now. Magellan was still stuck with that toilet, so she had no choice but to tell him.
"Well, I guess I am where I need to be," Shiryu said, confused. "But why'd they put a prisoner like that on the first floor?"
It didn't make sense. A prisoner who could reach the third floor that easily, even lose contact with them up there, was locked away on the first floor.
"I don't get it either. We figured out who he is. Just a young guy who killed a few Marines. He must be hiding his strength. But why'd he even come to Impel Down?"
Sadi chan considered the possibility he was there to save someone. After all, he came down with everything he had, hiding his power. It was pretty likely. But saving someone from Impel Down? Not an easy feat.
There were the two iron walls guarding the place, then there was Marine Headquarters.
With the Gate of Justice, Marine Headquarters could send backup fast.
This rescue mission was basically a dream, even the Four Emperors wouldn't just barge into Impel Down.
She shut down that idea the moment it popped into her head.
"Whatever his reason, turn him into a corpse," Shiryu said, a glint of murderous intent flashing in his eyes. It sent a shiver down Sadi chan's spine.

On the third floor, Luo Ning sighed after blasting through a crowd of prisoners, guards, and Den Den Mushi with his Reiatsu.
The pickings weren't as good here compared to the second floor. Sure, the prisoners were tougher, but there weren't any beasts, and the jailers were nothing special.
Overall, the loot on this floor wasn't even as good as the second.
But as Luo Ning approached the entrance to the fourth floor, a shiver ran down his spine.
"This feeling... a strong enemy on the next floor? Is this some kind of danger sense?"
Luo Ning had run into Hannyabal on the second floor to avoid trouble on his way up.
These Impel Down guards wouldn't just sit around waiting for him to stroll past their posts, so he'd been imagining for some kind of power to sense danger.
And now, that power seemed to be kicking in.
"Just in case, go to the Fifth floor first"
Luo Ning bypassed the Fourth-loor entrance and sank straight through the rock with another fantasy ability.
