Lisa tried to remain upstairs all day but it was proving impossible.
She wanted to remain locked up in her room partly because she was embarrassed at her outburst at Richard when it had been undeserving.

About an hour into her lockup, someone had knocked on the door.
Thinking that it was Richard, Lisa had kept quiet and listened while the person knocked for about five minutes before they walked off.
An hour later, the person had returned, this time, the person had spoken up and she immediately realized that the person was definitely not Richard as it was a very feminine voice that had called out to her.
"Miss, would you like to eat now? Mr Roger instructed that I knock every hour to ask if you're ready to eat," she informed Lisa who rolled her eyes, appalled that she had thought that he was the one knocking a while back.
