Gravill sat on his bed, the events of the day replaying in his mind like a broken record. The encounter with Cadmus, the strange disappearance, the cryptic messages - it all felt too surreal. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach.
Just as Gravill was about to drift into thought, a sudden noise outside his window caught his attention. He opened the curtains to see a shadowy figure lurking in the darkness. His heart pounded in his chest, and a sense of dread washed over him. Cadmus was back, and he wasn't alone.
Gravill's mind raced as he watched the figure smirk and disappear into the night. What did Cadmus want from him? Why was he back? Questions swirled in his mind, but he had no answers.
The next day at school, Gravill couldn't focus on his classes. He kept glancing over his shoulder, half-expecting to see Cadmus lurking in the shadows. The day dragged on, and finally, the final bell rang. Gravill packed up his things and headed home, his heart pounding with every step.
As he walked through the door, Gravill found his father still lounging on the sofa, lost in the TV. He felt a surge of anger and resentment towards his father, who seemed content to do nothing while his mother worked tirelessly to support their family.
Gravill headed to his room, trying to push aside the thoughts that were swirling in his mind. He needed answers. He needed to confront Cadmus and find out the truth behind the strange occurrences that had been plaguing him.
That night, as Gravill lay in bed, the darkness pressing in around him, a sudden noise jolted him awake. He sat up, listening intently. Footsteps echoed in the hallway, growing louder and closer. Gravill's heart raced as he realized that someone was in the house.
With a sinking feeling in his stomach, Gravill reached for his phone, ready to call for help. But before he could dial, a figure appeared in the doorway. It was Cadmus, his dark eyes glinting with malice.
Gravill's breath caught in his throat as Cadmus stepped into the room, a twisted smile playing on his lips. "I've been waiting for you, Gravill," Cadmus whispered, his voice sending shivers down Gravill's spine.
Fear clenched at Gravill's heart as he realized that Cadmus was not alone. Shadows moved in the darkness behind him, whispering dark promises of pain and destruction.
The room spun around Gravill, and the world faded into darkness as he was dragged into a nightmare from which there seemed to be no escape.
And as Gravill's screams echoed through the night, the only sound that answered him was the chilling laughter of Cadmus and his sinister companions.
What fate awaited Gravill in the clutches of the mysterious half-blood prophecy? Only time would tell.
